The role-play is about the colonization of a new world after the Earth as we know it has been completely destroyed by an asteroid, also there hasn't really been any sci-fi type role-plays that I've been interested in or have caught my eye, most of what we see currently are either fantasy or modern fantasy. That, really doesn't tickle my taste buds.
2) Why is your idea so much better than the rest?
I wouldn't really go out of my way and say that this role-play is better than what has been shown, or is currently being played on these forums, but it certainly gives players the chance to shape the future of the human race. Be it an attempt to establish a new city and government, to nomadic tribes struggling for resources of the new world.
3) What do you want from potential roleplayers?
I'm expecting to see average writing, full paragraphs, with decent grammar at least. No one to two sentence things that lack detail, which I feel tends to kill role-plays rather quickly, than long posts taking a day or two to write. I would personally like to see one or two posts a week, at least that way it gives people time to read, and react rather than freaking out, then writing something that lacks details.
4) Who are you?
I've been on these forums for two years, kinda off and on, not many people know me though I would consider myself experienced despite not enjoying the process of character creation (I love creating a character, I just...develop the character through role-playing rather than already knowing his/her history). I'm also in the process of writing a novel, as well as a couple of short stories based in the far future, with my own little universe I've created, so I kinda fancy myself a novelist, though not published.
Pretty much, I'm looking for role-players who are interested in participating in a reboot of a role-play that died out a few months back, that role-play was created by Rainbow Corridor, and a bit improved by me when I actually attempted to reboot it, I only managed to get one person, who probably lost interest again. Anywho, here's the link:
