Auto repair-Mini Cooper Issue , Oh, Those Brakes

Driving the Mini Cooper is often said to be like driving a Go Kart. This is a p
auto glass repair retty accurate picture. The car sticks to the
healthy eating ground like you would not believe. This can result in a bit of lead foot, which usually isnt a problem until you have to stop.

The Mini Cooper gets good gas mileage. I own an S, wh
diabetes Prevention ich is the turbo version. The older models had a supercharger instead
automotive repair of a turbo, but also had great mileage. Lead footing it around town, I average about 28 miles to the gallon. Going isnt the problem. Stopping is.

The first time I realized stopping was an issue was
auto zone at 17,000 miles. The car stopped fine, but
acute hepatitis the brake warning light went on. With only 17,000 miles on it, I thought the warning light had to have a glitch. Surely there could not be a problem this quickly?could there? Well, it turns out that there definitely was a problem. The pads needed to be replaced.

In do my share of zipping around in the Mini, but a good bit of the miles I put on it are spent trekking to and from work on the freeway just like you. There are not a lot of traffic jams where I am, so there isnt a lot breaking. So, how could I have possible worked over the pads that quickly? It se
body repair emed impossible.

Ive learned some interesting things since buying the Cooper. The run flat tires are not so hot. The light cover on the ceiling sometimes pops off for no particular reason other than my Cooper must be haunted. Birds love my black mirrors if you know what I mean. None of these have been a particularly expensive issue, but brake problems are.

Apparently, I am not the only one who has burned through their brake pads fairly quickly. It is a fairly common problem. Fortunately, my replacements were done under warranty, but that wont always be the case. When the warranty expires, I am not looking forward to having to pay for new pads every 17,000 miles.

If you are considering buying a Mini Cooper, there are a ton of positives. It is a seriously fun car to drive. It gets good gas mileage. It is unique unlike most cookie, cutter cars on the road. All this being said, you might read up on the brakes if you are looking for a potential concern.
