Love Of Family & Home: Scarf Tying Video Tutorial (The Pretzel Tie)

Happy Thursday All!

Are you guys finally getting back to a normal routine after the holidays?!?

Things are finally getting back to normal here at our house. My husband went back to work yesterday & Parker started back to school. Unfortunately, I will be heading back to work today as well! Isn't reality fun?! It's nice to be getting back to a normal schedule, but I kinda loved having everyone home, staying up late, and sleeping in every day.?

Today, I thought I would step outside my comfort zone & shoot a little video tutorial for you all! I finally got a tripod a few months ago which makes things a whole lot easier in terms of video. I also got a MacBook Pro this past October, which means that I have access to iMovie for video editing.....so much easier than the program I was using before! ?Anyway.....I hope to be including more videos on the blog this year as a result.?

A few weeks back, I had posted a picture of some scarves that I had gotten at Gordman's for my birthday on my Facebook Fan Page. I had several people inquire about how I had tied the scarves in the photo. It's called the pretzel tie & I thought that a video would be the best way to show you all how to do it! So without further ado, here is a little video tutorial for you guys! I am fully aware the I say "Umm" WAY TOO MUCH.....please try to overlook that for the time being and know that I am trying to get better! If you make it to the end of the video, I did include a few outtakes. If you're having a bad day, hopefully my inexperience will make you smile! :) I realize that I may have done a little too much blousing/adjusting, so the scarf didn't quite look like it does in the pictures above, like I said....I could see what I was doing!
