Nokia is all prepared to unveil its Windows Phone 8 devices as Nokia has started sending out invites to the media for an event to be held on September 5 in New York City. The invitation quite boldly reveals that the Finnish manufacturer will reveal and discuss the next-generation Lumia smartphone which runs Windows Phone 8.
There are high expectations from these smartphones for both Nokia as well as Microsoft. Apart from the new Windows Phone which shares its code base with Windows 8, we can expect high-end smartphones equipped with latest quad-core chips and impressive cameras, amongst other features.
It will be a critical launch for Microsoft as well as Nokia. Microsoft will be able to display how Windows Phone 8 works seamlessly on an actual product and for Nokia to show off their latest flagship smartphone which will be in par with latest high-end offerings from its competitors.
We are not sure as to what devices are in stock for the event, however we are eagerly looking forward to further developments and expect a few interesting devices from the company.
